'Coats' of Wax

The last time I detailed my car was a week ago. I claybarred it, used my Porter Cable DA polisher with NXT and put on an extra coat of Meguiars Clear Coat Wax as my 2nd coat.
A week later, even after driving over 500 miles, I just use Speed Detailer daily and it's still absolutely slick.
No need for multiple coats of Zaino, or buying it online, or paying more than you really need to. Actually what amazes me is that everytime you touch your paint, you increase your chances of putting scratches in it. Adding multiple coats only increases that potential and applying Zaino by hand does nothing to prevent that nor remove them.

I am not sure there is a best way to use #7. You can use it as a topcoat, but it has no staying power at all, and you might wind up re-applying it every week or so. Or, you can put it on beneath the #26 but, as Brad B points out, #26 is not going to adhere to the paint as well as it would if it did not have something wet and oily (i.e., #7) between it and the paint.
I used it as a slow motion substitute for detailing spray. It definitely provides the wet look. I can't say I am going to apply it on a regular basis, however.

After I use up all of my NXT I will be a Zaino convert. But I spoke with my uncle today who drag races professionally and is a restorer and detailer and he said with the NXT putting on more than one coat would be a waste of time and money, but with a professional product like Zaino you definetely want to put more than one coat on, but no more than three or it would be a bigger waste of time. He said the way the NXT is (bonds to paint) and is synthetic you really dont need more than two coats, but with actual natural ingredients and more "wax" in substances like Zaino you need more than one coat.
I learned alot today, spending a day @ a professional detail center, especially about waxes and waxing, did you know that if you wax your windshield and rear window it will have an effect like rain-X? I didn't but I do now!

Question:
I am in the process of hand buffing the wax/haze after application of wax, off my MINI. I am getting a "streaking" effect almost like the towel cant take it all off, whats going on and what do I need to do to fix it?

i use a new mf towel with every application, 1 for polish, 1 for Klasse AIO, 1 for wax..that way the towel doesnt get overloaded with all the crud.
