Snow Broom

Has any one used or heard of the snow broom.

I am wondering what would be the best way to remove snow without buying a car cover ( I have not garage)

When I lived in snow country, I usually just used the sleeve of my jacket.

If you don't want to scratch the paint finish, you could try sprinkling some of that driveway ice melting salt on your MINI (Do NOT sprinkle salt on your MINI!)

That broom does look useful and since it is foam it should de a decent job of not scratching anything. My only problem would be that it is a long handled tool that is not used all that often and you could probably get away with improvising a solution with something you have around the house and save yoursef the $20

the brush off!

I've used the snow broom before. Not on my MINI, though. It has the same potential gotcha as a water blade. Any grit and you might end up with scratches.

That being said, the snow broom does push off snow easily. Has a hard time with nooks and crannies. Still need a brush for that.

I use an OXO snow brush on the MINI.

I've never actually wiped the snow of the car paint, only the windshield parts. For that I use the rubber side of those regular snow brushes. I usually just drive off and have the snow fly off the car since I'm afraid of scratching it by trying anything fancy.
