I have 2 large waffle weaves, and they got soaked pretty quick when I used only them for the total drying job.

Penny for your thoughts?

Sounds great!

What? Not even a nod at my attempts at "marriage humor"??
Missus is actually getting some benefit from my recent investment in detailing products and supplies, since the same stuff now sees double duty on the Caravan. I mean, is it MY fault that she would just as soon use ordinary household rags and dish-detergent on it?

Seriously, she's gonna LUV me when I get my PCDA and just go nuts all over the Dodge . It's hauled kids, grocerys, construction supplies for 3+ years, (since new) not to mention 4-5 extended road trips for camping vacations all over the US - that kind of use tends to leave its marks.

I should stop by a detailing shop, and inquire as to the cost to give a Dodge Caravan the full detailing treatment. Maybe on 2nd thought I better not do that, she might see room in the budget for that crucial 54th pair of shoes (badum Boom!).

I do sincerely appreciate the help . Credit to BradB and all the rest on this thread, for helping me learn a LOT in a short time, and avoiding some potentially heartbreaking trial and error, concerning care and feeding of my MCS.

Gratefully,
Tatt

Sorry, marriage humor is lost on me, ever since I turned over my sense of humor and my Man License when I said I-Do

point taken, Cardiac. Bein' married may not be the 24 hour-a-day fiesta that we were promised since birth, but all is not lost - at least you have a really cool pic in your NAM signature

Thanx... since I am more Autistic than Artistic I appreciate that....

Yeah my wife gives me a hard time about the time spent Zaino-ing the car... but loves the way it works... I tried to explain that it is like putting on make up, if you take your time and use the right products it looks good... it was going well until I added... "well most of the time"... Waaah, wrong answer, thanx for playing... here is the honey-do list... oh and bath that stinky dog

leaf blower

I use my electric leaf blower to blow off Casper before I shamee. The grills and under the gas cap lid, all the places that leak water eternally after washing, are all blown dry. A buddy on MINICOOPERUSA suggested this and I've been doing it for years. I think it works great and saves time. BSK

I got some suede micro fibre towels today for buffing .The nap is very short and way smoother than the regular micro fibre towels I have been using. They seem to work well with the QD.Still using a regular one to spread and wipe with.

if you're looking for REALLY good quality towels and don't mind paying for it I suggest pakshak.com They recommended to me by www.autopia.org members. If you are a member of autopia you get a VERY good discount.

I haven't gotten mine yet, but they should be coming anyday.
