Ridiculous experience at Touchless

So the snow has subdued for a bit here in Chicago, so I took the MINI in for a nice touchless wash to get rid of the salt. I'm really paranoid with other brushes touching my car so I avoid hand wash and the dealer.

anyways, so there was a guy there sort of manning the whole apparatus. I roll my windows down and I ask him if it's touchless and he's like yeah. I"m like okay, so then he takes this sick looking brush thing and starts wiping my car with it. I"m like "WOAH!! wait what are you doing. I want touchless" and he's like "yah this is touchless" so then i go on and tell him how the point of a touchless is so that nothing weird touches the car and he's like oh okay if you don't want a prewash that's fine, but it won't get the sides well. I'm like that's okay, all that matters is touchless.

Can you believe this, why the hell would I go to a touchless just to let a guy with his nasty plastic brush wipe my car down. people these days.

luckily he only got a bit of my bonnet, and sine i'm a PW it's not noticable or at least i haven't taken a good look at it.

Hmmmmm... Someone needs to explain that TOUCH-less means "Without touching"

Just tell him that "no" means "NO"

Hey Mataku, I'm in the northwest burbs and can recommend a (for real, honest to goodness) TOUCHLESS car wash (3 bays out of 8, anyways), on Dempster St. in Niles, situated not far west of where Milwaukee Ave (SR 21) cuts across. My MCS with 16" V-Spoke wheels, cannot get enough of that place lately!

Against stupidity, the gods themselves contend in vain,
Tatt

someone else mentioned this carwash to me. 5 dollars correct? It's a bit far from my place though, i'm quite east of there, unless you think it's worth the trip. The place I go to is on devon and mccormick by the lincoln wood theatre.

answer me this thoguh, is there someone that monitors the machine? i'll go there if I can let my car sit at the part where they spray your underside. I would love to just sit there with my car after a good salt planting done by the city.

Also, around milwaukee doesn't it have that wierd bridge thing where you can go under to go to the right, if so, does it matter which way i go?
