Clay cleaning my boot

Used a clay bar for the first time today on my Mini's poor dirty boot - and it's as good as everyone says.

I used a bar from Clay Magic, same in a box with lube, a little plastic storage box and sample of their Wet Wax. Not having used clay before, I was surprised the bar was really sticky. Maybe that is just this brand of bar, I don't know. I expecting it to be smooth like a bar of soap for some reason.

I do know that once I figured out you need to apply some pressure and "erase" the embedded dirt, it worked great and my boot is literally cleaner than the day I got it! Put a coat of Meguiar's NXT wax on it and was thrilled with how clean and smooth the results were.

So if you haven't tried the clay bar yet, I can say it's easy, pretty fast, and the results will speak for themselves.

Glad you liked it! I end up spot claying my dust magnet, er, I mean MINI often to keep the debris out of the paint and the feel slick.
