Liquid Glass

Has anyone had any experience with Liquid Glass products (liquidglass.com)? These products are sold in specialty shops and custom car and boat shops in Canada. Any thoughts or opinions?

Much appreciated!

I have used it and loved the product..

had a Black mustang... gave it a Glass finish... it cost a little and takes a lot of time to apply... never tried it with a buffer... did it the old fashion way.

I used to have a supplier where I bought a gallon at a time. Awesome product. I have used it on everything I own. Put on two or three coats for a really deep shine. Not cheap but worth the trouble.

Yes, this stuff is not cheap...but I guess you get what you pay for! Glad to hear that it is easy to apply too.

It's been around for years. A very high solvent synthetic wax with heavy solvent cleaners and some mechanical (abrasive) cleaners.

The Guru Wax test rated it a "C", far behind Klasse and the sealant leader Zaino. Overall, out of 45 waxes tested, Liquid Glass is #31. (Zaino is #1 and Klasse is #3)

Testing quotes:
"Week 4: Still beading, optics suffering a bit."
"Week 6: Protection gone, optics are on a downward spiral. One of the weakest synthetics we tested."
"This one completely died after snow and ice"

I used it for years until I tried Zaino. Difference as nite & day. I'll never use anything but Zaino (until something Proven Better comes along:smile: )
