Suppose i want to make a sticker, like the one in the hood that the r56 GP has. Is if possible to get the original diagram design so i can dupliacate and recreate it in a design application (eg. Illustrator) and then go and print it so some printing shop?

 

If you can't then you should be able to take a picture and use illustrators trace tool.

 

Not that easy to be precise because the hood is curved! But i see you are familiar with Illustrator's trace tool, are you a pro in design?

 

Pro, hardly. Used to own a digital print company so I learned how to fix and print customer created content. I'm many years removed from that biz.

caption on that pic says it is a 'concept car'

that means a ONE TIME custom for shows, so I doubt the stripes are "available"; on the other hand those GP items should have MINI part numbers ... contact a dealer . . . there is a dealer or two that is 'friendly' and willing to help find parts. ANYONE??? ANYONE???

however ANY good wrap shop should be able to do the stripes for you ... if they can't, they ain't a GOOD shop .... price???? Depends on how much they want the business!
