Dash board cleaner protector
Dash board cleaner protector
What do you people use to clean and protect the black dash top on these Mini's Ours is looking a little dingy . I use Blace WOW out side but have no clue what to use on the inside especially the top of the dash to protect it from fading. I refuse to use Armor all it dries out the plastice if not use constantly, also it is to shinny and cause glare at night.

Thanks I will pick some up tomorrow at the parts store down the street. use Armor all on a padded dash and it will crack in a few weeks if you don't apply in constantly, like every week. It wrecked two dash board on car I have owned also not good on Vinyl seats.

303 is good ... popular with boat and AIRPLANE folks too
zymol vinyl conditioner is also very good

these are the two products Mazda recommended for the vyn' top on a Miata when I bought mine in 95. I used Zymol and the top lasted for over 14 years b4 cracking and that was a daily driver that lived a long time in MIAMI. You'd note Zy' AIN'T CHEAP but a little goes a long way. No residue run off, and when I used it on the dash no subsequent window fogging as seen on many other products.
I use it on the dash and all plastic and rubber on my cars ... including the wheel and skirt trim on my MINIs .... except tires .... too expensive for the tires. There are cheaper tire treatments.

My understanding is that ArmorAll revised their formula years ago and that is no longer an issue. I use either Vinylex or 303. Vinylex is more glossy while 303 dries to a matte finish. Either of those work well depending on your preference.
