Oops...detailing

So this lovely memorial day I decided to spend the day fully detailing the mini... of coarse there was some festivities involved but in total I spent a good six hours removing the seats and conditioning the interior as well as the leather. Here's where my dumb *** ness comes into play. I decided to disconnect the battery before I unplugged the seats and then went on about my day, when I put the seats back in I plugged back in the yellow plug re-connected the battery and low and behold the air bag light is on. My car looks beautiful so it's whatever but I still want to turn off the light. I tried driving 50 miles or so to attempt to let the computer relearn itself but the lights still there. I'm hoping some of my fellow mini lovers can help me out with some expertise. I hope everyone else's memorial day weekend was great. :D

I believe that airbag light must be reset at the dealer (or an independent shop that has the correct tool/scanner).

Or you can buy the tool/scanner.

Ya, I had the airbag light on. Was told dealer only reset. Wasn't about to pay $120 just for that.
