I haven't seen much activity on meets for our cars so I have decided to try and set something up at my local car wash BIRDIE'S AUTO SPA in Rye, NY. It's an amazing place with an amazing staff, the wash you get is like no other. It's a soapless steam wash that uses less then a gallon of water per car. As long as this place is around I'll never wash my car again, my car looks brand new every time, and the wash lasts longer then a conventional wash. The Bimmer guys have held 2 annual meets there and on May 5th they will be holding there third annual meet that I will be attending. If I can get a minimum of 10 and maximum of 20 cars to attend Eric will provide us with a day to take over his facility and get all our cars washed, waxed, detailed, and hang out. He also has a hot dog stand he will set up with drinks.

I still have to fine tune the deal with Eric but I'm trying to get a deal on a exterior wash with a carnaubas wax and interior cleaning. Should be some where around $50. ill confirm pricing tomorrow.

you may want to set up a day and have a price set before asking people if they are going to attend. i'm not going to commit to a meet on an unknown day for unknown price.

i'm also just wondering about the logistics of this. according to the site, it's an hour for these services, at the same price being offered here. he has the staff to do 20 cars in one day in a reasonable amount of time?

Why don't you talk to Okee from Triple O Coding to see if you guys can collaborate. On the 19th he may be coming to Port Chester to code a MINI for me. I offered him a locale to invite other BMWs and MINIs to have a little meet and also so people can get some NCS Coding if they want. The last time he coded for me I had 7 other BMWs show up and it was a good time. Rye is down the street, he can probably do it all there. He's an expert at coding and a great guy.

that all sounds great but there booked for events every weekend until june 9th. if you dont mind postponing your coding till then maybe we can set something up.

 

I second that Okee is a great guy, he coded my car as well and was willing to work late, he knows his stuff.

 

What was the date on this again?I didn't see it in the original post. Having the coding guy come would be great, we could all get everything done at once!

Always interested in meets. On sundays theres cars and coffee in Yorktown ny. usually 150 -250 cars. all different makes. Lots of fun. 8am-10am
