So, I had my dogs up on Mt Charleston to play in the snow today and forgot to bring a towel to clean their paws. As a result, my wife's car (not my MINI, haha) has some muddy paw prints on her cloth seats. What's the best way to clean these up? Spray bottle of water with a rag??

You say they are cloth upholstered then any good carpet type cleaner and a soft brush then vacuum should do the trick. At least that is the first tack I would take. I wouldn't get to excentric about it tho I doubt you'll get much help from the guilty parties short of some good tail wagging encouragement.
