Progresive levels of cutting properties as required depending on the extent of the "swirling".
I've always use 3M products with thier "hookit" foam pads.
Before showing a car I always go over the car with a hand glaze as the finnal step as it removes any waxy film left and fills any microscopic paint swirls.
If you have a decent paint job to start with, this finnal step will give you that wet glass look you are after.
