Meg's is usually available at the corner parts store. Best advice I can give is to use your leaf blower to dry it after you wash.

Hit up Phil for the good stuff. Great service: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...-interior.html

Lots of good products out there. LOTS, but from my experience you can't go wrong with the PRIMA line. Many others also are sold on Griots.

The easiest way to maintain a superb finish is with a few select products from Prima.

Here's a Clubbie that was detailed and you can see the buffer marks from the bad detailer

Wash with Mystique polymer soap for that extra gloss just from washing your paint.

Use Prima Hydro spray wax after each wash to maintain the existing wax.

Hopefully your detailer is a quality paint polisher and not a run of the mill detailer found at the car wash or car detailer who often damages your paint instead of actually making it look better.

Technique is everything when it comes to proper maintenance.

Prima Nero is a fantastic interior plastic/rubber conditioner.

Before and After using Black Wow on exterior plastics

After polishing and waxing with Prima

You can find all of these at my site....www.showcarsupplies.com

Nobody can provide you the before or after support like I can. Look at my signature for the NAM discount. FedEx Ground will likely have the cheapest rates if you're buying gallons or more than a few bottles.

From my experience, after a good waxing I'll use just water for the first few washes. It might sound crazy but it will keep the wax on there. After a few water washes use a very tiny amount of soap in each wash. I live in NM so its pretty dusty all the time, I just make sure to flush the licence plate light holder and the edges of the hatch really well.

Oh, and octaneguy is right about black wow! I believe it uses seseme oil and it works wonders. The same makers make a really good wax remover for anysmudges on the trim.

I live pretty close to Griot's http://www.griotsgarage.com/ and buy many of their products.

Our local MINI club went to a detailing class there and I was really impressed with their spray on car wash. It wasn't something I ever considered buying, but the demonstration convinced me. Now I only use the hose and bucket, when the MINI is really dirty.

I like the Chemical Guys stuff since its fairly affordable. To do touch ups between washes I use their eco wash and it leaves a great shine. I usually top with some V7 for some great protection.

Just saw this post...just to make things accurate, Black Wow is silicone based, but you don't need very much so we tell people it uses a dot the size of a sesame seed. The cleaner/wax remover is known as Pre-Wow and works amazing.
