Clear Bra - Detailer Install - Whats a reasonable cost?

I'm expecting to pick up my Coupe in about 3 to 4 weeks. One of the things I want to do is get a clear bra for the front bonnet, front bumper, and headlights.

My dealership quoted me $600. That feels rather high. So I am looking to get it installed by another source.

I paid a little more than that for bonnet, bumper, mirrors on my car with the JCW aero kit. It is high, but there is a fair amount of labor involved. So 600 isn't out of the ballpark if you choose to get it done at the dealer. Also rolled it into the loan.

check craigslist for someone who will do the work on the side.I had mine done after hours at a local shop. $325. I'm thinking about getting it done again since it's no longer on the car. tagged a deer. :(

Check out Premier Mobile Group. They are in NorCal and SoCal and are among the best for clearbra installs. They are not inexpensive, but they do high quality work. We've seen plenty of bad installs from cheaper places.

Bad installs include the following:

Finger prints on the inside of the film
Lifting edges
Stretched film that causes paint stroke like grooves in the film
Cut out areas that aren't protected or have wide margins due to using pre-cut instead of custom cut film.

Awesome! Thank you Richard. That's what I was looking for. When I picked up Jerome in 06 from the dealer, another customer was picking up their PW Mini and they clear-bra'd a big black spec on the bonnet. The owner to be and I saw it in seconds. The dealer obviously wasn't as detail oriented. : /
