Windex wipes

Just bought some Windex glass and multi surface wipes to use on my windows and car as well. I work at a freight forwarder so there are constantly 18 wheelers passing by my car all day. There seems to be a black film of dirt that accumulates on my bumber hood and windows, that I have come to assume is a combination of break dust, dirt and exhaust carbon. So I bought the wipes to use as like a supplementary cleaning between washes. Since I have a pepper white mcs I am very concerned with keeping the paint looking crisp and stain free. Do you think the Windex wipes are good? And are there any better products to use in my situation or better methods I can use to keep it crispy?

I would worry about running a "damp" product wipe over my dry finish. If there are abrasive particulates (which I assume there are) it will scratch the finish with the wiping action.

There are "waterless" washing products put out by a few companies. Never tried them. I would think that the spray-on application then wipe would provide more lubrication to the paint, but.......

I have only used a two bucket system and my wool wash mitts on my MINI.

I'll be interested in what others say.

DO NOT use the Windex wipes on your paint.
They may be fine for glass but not your paint. A proper wash is the best thing and a distant second is a quick detailer and a good microfiber cloth.
Windex is much to harsh for the paint.

Yep, you need DRI-WASH...I've been using it for about nearly 20 yearsmit leaves a great finish. I continue to use it on my collector car which is a multiple show winner and has an incredible deep shine as a result of using DRI-WASH...here's a link to an online seller...no connection just one of many just GOOGLE dri-wash and see what it brings up.
