Interior trim

I see many threads on exterior trim and am now using black wow. My question is what to use on interior plastic and vinyl. I don't want the wet armor all look, rather more of a satin look. Any suggestions?
Thanks
Bob

Welcome

I have been just using plain water with microfiber and seems to be working well.
I also recall reading in owners Manual but not reale sure that is what they recomend but sooner or later I'm sure Im gone to have to do my leather seats with something.

Prima Nero, definitely

It gives a great matte finish and is a good protectant. Smells good too.

A Solution of 50/50 Prima Nero/Water, or I also use 303 Aerospace Protectant, both work well, just depends on what I'm in the mood for at the time. Always use a Good Clean MicroFiber Towel, I use Griot's MF Towels, they have color specific towel for their prodicts which I like!!

There should be no need for armor all type greasy gunk on the inside of your car. All they do is leave oily surfaces for dust to collect quicker. Dawn dish soap in warm water on your interior surfaces will leave them nice and clean without the harsh chemical smells and ggreazzzy dust collecting surfaces.

You can put the spray "conditioners" on if you wish, but typically they are never needed inside your car. Just a good clean and wipedown will make them look their best.

I use Einszett Cockpit Premium to clean the interior. It cleans with a no-shine finish, no greasy mess, surfaces feel like nothing is on them. It also protects against UV light and fading.

I've been using Vinylex on my interior trim, plastics, etc. It does leave a slight amount of residue, so it may not be the best option.

clean with Simple Green diluted and dressed with 303 Aerospace. The 303 stuff leaves a very nice satin look to the trim without making it greasy/shiny and it helps protect against cracking. The 303 also makes the surface easier to dust and clean up next time you go to clean your interior

California Duster. I almost never "clean" my interior plastics unless I specifically get mud on a door or maybe a spill on the center console. I prefer to get as little product as possible inside the car.

Second simple green. I use about 2 oz concentrate in a spray bottle and mist it on, wipe with microfiber. Looks great and I love the smell of SG.

Exactly, the simple green gets rid of the dirt and removes all the dirt from what appear to be scratches and the 303 dresses

Meguiars APC+ 10:1 to clean the interior. Simply wet microfiber towel to were it's saturated but not to the point were it's soaking wet. Rub surface with wet towel then take another microfiber towel to wipe off residue. Along with Sniper, I only use 303 Aerospace Protectant on my clients cars. It gives a nice matte finish with great UV protection.

I'll second the Prima Nero, very lightly and rarely applied to all interior coverings and the door sills. It's also a quick fix on the exterior black boundaries. I use Prima Clarity on interior glass, and the instrument clear plastic.
At times- Prima Slick is nice on the Piano Black plastic. Yes, I got started on the Prima line and have never found a reason to switch.
BTW, on the leather seats- Prima Nourish has kept mine looking good for 4 years.

Anyone know-
I am out of Black and Pre - Wow. Is there a place that sells them that also carries Prima products?

I usually wipe down in hot/warm water then apply a small amount of 303.

You can find Black Wow, Pre-Wow, and Prima under one roof from either me at ShowCarSupplies.com or Phil at DetailersDomain.com, we are both NAM sponsors.

Btw, my favorite interior products are Nero for the interior textured surfaces and leatherette seats and Hydro or Slick for the glossy plastics.

I use the same thing as welll. My car has piano black trim option and it still looks like new. A good microfiber towel works great with 303 Protectant. I use a mini California duster to clean the dash in between 303 treatments.

+1

This is my go-to cleanser for everything interior. Leaves a matte factory finish.

I bought the MINI branded interior dressing. it looks nice for about a minute and the next day not so much. I really like prima Nero mixed 50/50 with water. gives a satiny finish, not glossy but also not a matte finish. Just enough of a finish that you know I work to keep it that clean.
