I skimmed the "touchup paint thread", enough to see that people were unhappy with the color match of the dealership's CR paint.

So what touchup paint have CR owners been happy with?

And as a side note, how long do you typically wait after doing touchups to polish and seal?

Wow, thanks so much. I could spend 30 minutes scanning a 10 page thread line by line, comparing the responses that just say, "_____ was a great match for my car!" to the poster's sig to determine what kind of car they have, oooorrrr you could take 30 seconds to say, "I've got a CR; I used _____ and it was a great match." I've seen a lot of your posts be very helpful, I guess this one was just too hard.

I know we all get tired of answering the same questions over and over again (I'm a long time contributor on BMW and cycling boards), but seriously man, I know how to search and between CR, Chili, Chilli, Red, touchup, touch up, touch-up, and the word PAINT - this isn't a slam dunk search either. Is it only legal to post on a forum if the Q has never been asked before? What kind of community is that?

 

Some people use the forums to feel snarky and self-important. It's the nature of the internet and some semblance of anonymity. Anyway, I've used the touch-up kit from Dr. Colorchip and found the paint to match pretty nicely.
