Remove paint from leatherette seats

Hi. Well during halloween my friend was wearing a costume with gold paint on it. i didn't noticed that it was paint, until she sat in my car and now there are paint marks on the seats.

Do you guys have any suggestions on how to remove it?

I am a detailing n00b. But I have had a similar problem.

I have had to spot clean my used 07's leatherette seats to remove these mysterious tiny white dots (looks like paint) that I have noticed everywhere. They're tiny, but the more I look for them, the more of them I find. I have no idea what happened in there. But, if I hit 'em with a cotton rag that has a good amount of Goo Gone on it, they lift up with a bit of elbow grease.

Goo Gone is pretty harsh though, and it may be overkill but that is just the first thing that worked for me, so I kept using it. I've noticed Goo Gone dries the hell out of the area that I'm cleaning. So once I am done getting the paint up, I wash the area, then throw on the product I normally use to protect my leatherette (currently working through a bottle of TurtleWax F21 Super Protectant for all the plastic inside the car)

Anyone can feel free to tell me you don't agree with my process. I'm still learning. Let me know if you think I am damaging my leatherette.

Lawyer up and hit the gym.

J/k
I'd start with some Ronsonol lighter fluid in a discreet spot.

Of course, yes, test every new product in an inconspicuous spot on the material you plan to use it on, let it dry, and make sure it didn't ef it up.

I also use a flash light to assess the affect if I don't get a chance to test the product in the sun light.
