Detailed part of the car that probably nobody will notice

Replaced the brakes for my car inspection about a month ago...and I had just slapped them in to get the stickers. Problem was, I didn't take time to clean them and after a few weeks they began to squeel. So...figured I'd give them some attention.
Here's how they looked coming out of the gates...

Pulled the entire brake off and preped for paint.

I probably could have pulled off red, but just wanted something that looks simple and clean.

After paint, I needed to grind down the surface area that the shoes sit on

Here's the finished product on the rear wheel...I also put a coat around the disk, knowing that the stock grey would wear out over time.

Here's the front caliper pulled and painted. I did get some paint on the disk...but that will pull off after the first step on the brakes.

With the tire back on...

G2 caliper paint costs like $25-$30 and it's a 2 part epoxy paint that dries nice and hard. The kit also comes with cleaner and tape for prep. I've used it twice in the past and had long lasting paint without chips.
For my mini I'm trying a cheaper brand I picked up at oreilly auto that's just a one part paint. I'm painting mine black to clean up the obvious rust and clean up the look behind the wheel well. It's easier with the calipers completely removed, but I've done it with them on the rotor before. (it's brush on paint)

Thanks everyone...since I'm OCD about even having brake dust on the inside of the rim, nice looking calipers are big to me.
There are various types of brake paint out there that probably work better than what I used. In this case, I just used a high temp engine paint. I've used this in the past on many of my cars and can easily get 2-3 years through winter driving before needing to reapply (occasional shots of brake cleaner brings it back to life). Since I park this vehicle from November through March...I'm sure it will last even longer.
