What can you do with a super plush microfiber glove?

I'm not being a smartass, I really don't know!

No worries. You can do just about everything. It's a super easy way to wipe down interior surfaces. It's very intuitive. Just like running your fingers over a surface but instead with a glove.

Sometimes when you're wiping surfaces the towel drags on the ground, or you have to wrap the towel around your fingers or a tool to wipe tight areas. The microfiber glove allows you to wipe any surface especially soft, delicate painted surfaces without worry of scratching it.

Because it's plush, it's absorbent enough to hold some quick detailer and you can apply it and easily wipe it off with another part of the glove.

In short, it just makes wiping and cleaning simpler.

Here are some ideas of where you can wipe.

Is it warm in winter? That looks a whole lot more comfortable than those black knit gloves.

I don't know! I was wondering the same thing. They are VERY comfy. Might make good driving gloves for the winter! Keep your hands warm and your car clean at the same time!

Think it would hold up for washing wheels?

Honestly they are REALLY too nice for that. It would probably work, but imagine a Monster Fluffy that's wrapped around your fingers.

I'd save the cheaper mitts and gloves for wheels...and would never think to use those cheaper ones on scratch sensitive/delicate areas!

Ok just for you, I sacrificed a glove!

Started with a dirty wheel

Dipped the glove in ONR

Began wiping

Used the back of my fingers too

All clean now! Time for the other 3 wheels.

But after 4 wheels, the gloves are dirty!

The gloves did not appear to be worn though. They were soggy from the ONR solution, but I just wrung them out. I will continue using this glove and see how long it lasts during the next month.

That's a pretty tough test - thanks! Maybe it would be more fair to the gloves to pre-wash the wheels and then use the gloves just to get in the tighter areas.

Your wheels are wide open, but I have V-spokes and where the spokes meet the rim is a fairly tight angle for my usual cheapo sponge from Pep Boys. (I also have Carbotech pads so my wheels don't get that filthy anymore.)

On Monday I washed my car and tried the MF glove on my wheels. It worked really well to get into the tighter spaces. It had been a little over 3 weeks since the last wash, so there was plenty of brake dust to remove. Thanks to my Carbotech pads, the glove didn't get nearly as dirty as OG's example, though. I think I'll be able to use the same glove 3 times before it needs to be washed.

The only downside compared to a wash mitt is that the glove doesn't hold much water or suds, but hey, it's not sold as a wheel-washing glove! (so far...)

This might be good for stereo installer work gloves too. Last thing you want is scratched trim, etc. And while removing one can clean the dust between the trims with no other tools.
