Just got it friday, went for a very dirty drive yesterday and I can't stand that according to the installer I'm not supposed to wash my MCCS for 3 days!!! Anyone out there tell me why or what would happen if I wet her down just to get the dirt off? I imagine the material has to cure but is 3 days really necessary?

Did Installer mention anything about Voiding the Warranty if you did not follow the 72hr. No Wash Clause??!!

So you have a Dirty MCCS...it's not the end of the world, I cannot drive, wash, or do anything to my Molly Girl for 8 more weeks due to Surgery.

I think you can wait one more day, Monday PM??!!

 

Mine said I could wash it, I just couldn't wax/seal it for a week or so. But whatever, a couple of days won't kill ya

 

i washed and waxed my car the day i got my vinyl stripes ( thanks lyle)

 

Are you talking about the clear vinyl stuff? Just clean it up with some detailer. Get one of those **** type microfiber mits, get it wet, spray a bunch of detailer on the car, whip it softly with the mit and dry with a microfiber towel.
