You have two choices, minimize the effect so it's less visible and you would do this with a dressing/restorer product like Black Wow, or replace it.

Because of the plastic texture you can't do much in terms of repairs on them.

I used back to black on my M3's trim when it was faded and it worked great. Ya you have to do it every once in a while but it is better then the dull look.

After using Mother's B2B for the first few months of having my MINI (hey, it was free!) and now breaking down and buying a bottle of Black Wow, I can say there is no comparison.

Black Wow is the best, hands down. Mother's looks good as long as it doesn't rain, but as soon as it gets wet, it begins to streak. BW, like everybody says, actually looks better over time. Despite its hefty price tag, I use so little at a time, I think the bottle will last me for a year or so.

Thanks for posting..I gotta agree with you. The problem about most of the other products mentioned here is that BW is not even in the same category of product. Yes it restores the trim, but unlike the others, it absorbs and endures over time, whereas the others wear off easily. The ability to do this requires expensive chemicals but it was what I set out to achieve when coming out with the product.

I'm certain you will get far more than 1 year of use from the bottle. A facebook fan MINI owner posted a few days ago that he's still on his first bottle from over 3 years ago when I first launched it. That's actually a pretty common thing I hear.

I have Black Wow and it seems over rated. Expensive, and a real pain to apply. I'm still searching for something good. The Mother's product goes on easily but does not seem to last for very long. I'll keep searching.....

Black WOW and Pre WOW (to remove wax from trim) are not over rated.
You need to read the instructions and follow them correctly. BW will last a loooooooooong time. Its all in the application and dry time. Remember it is not tire shine gel or a dressing.

Also if you by it from the guy that created it (Richard) you get a discount.
