Kudos for Wheel Armour

I've got to give a plug to Wheel Armour. I applied it to my '09 BRG MCS wheels about 4 weeks ago and it has impressed me. I actually found I could wash the brake dust off of my wheels with just the water pressure from the hose last weekend. The wheels had maybe 400 miles since the last wash. They weren't bad, but you could write your name in the dust if you wanted.

Anyway, I'm letting my car nut friends know about it. I'm not connected to them in any way, I just read about it here on NAM. AFAIK, you can only get it at detailersparadise.com. Expensive, but hey, if it works its worth it.

Great to know what works

I wash just the wheels about twice a week. Anything that would make that easier is appreciated. I want to know what works on the stock wheels before I spend money on aftermarket.

Thanks for posting your review! I'm glad to hear you like it.

Yes, it seems a little expensive for the size of the bottle but when you consider it only takes a very small amount per application, it really is quite inexpensive per application. All of our Prima products are extremely concentrated that way... = more value for your $.

Again, thanks for sharing your experience. Welcome to the world of no longer having to scrub your wheels (or having to use wheel cleaner anymore, for that matter).

Giving it a try

I am putting in an order now for Wheel Armour. I recently purchased Nero and Hydro and was very impressed. I was looking for something to help with brake dust on my new Mini and found this and similar threads and decided to give it a try.

ke4sfq- Great! Let us know what you think.

With an app of Wheel Armour on your wheels, you'll only need to wash your wheels down with soapy water or a quick detail spray (i.e. Prima Slick or similar). Or, in some cases, just a high pressure spray of water.

Enjoy the break from scrubbing your wheels!
