Here's a 2 bucket rig I made from parts purchased at US Plastics on-line. There are many color combos you can do. I believe they only carry the grit-guards though, not the dirt-guards (I would like to give those a try too). I use Turtle Wax Ice Car Wash and dry with Hydro.

That has got to be the ultimate bucket mod! Nicely done!

Thanks! The 2 tubes that stick up vertically (holding the hose nozzle) aren't glued in yet. I haven't decided what kind of mod to do there yet. Suggestions? Since I made this we got the Clubman too. The wife jokes that I need to replace the red bucket with a black one when I wash her Clubman. This rig rolls around real easy, you can lock the wheels, and it stacks for storage.

can you put another tube on the top so that it acts like a strut tower bar when you are going around the car in fast motions? needs chassis rigidity for fast detailing fun.

I have actually thought about doing that with a tray or something across the top. It might need stripes and stickers to go faster though.

yah, jokes aside i think it will give your cart the stability it needs when you're yanking it around the car. and a tray would be awesome. i find myself looking for a spot to place my wet (but not finished using) towels. i have a 2nd bucket that i use as a cart and place my wet towels on the lid. i also carry a small bucket where i use as a laundry basket.

i like the color scheme you got btw, the red, black, white looks very sharp!
