Any Winter care tips

So I took delivery of my MCS almost 2 weeks ago and did the Dawn wash, clay, wash and Epic yesterday. He looks great but there is talk of snow already!

I've read/searched some of the threads on winter care but I'm not real OCD and have limited time on my hands. I'll have a SUV for the real bad days but for the most part, my Mini is my daily driver.

It is garaged but no drain for washing. What's the best plan of attack as far as keeping the salt at bay? Are the touchless car washes safe? What does everyone up north do when it drops consistently below freezing?

I really don't like winter...

i just wash my dd's at the auto touchless on days over 28F.
when it's real cold i just let it be and wait until the next window.

since you waxed it recently i think you're fine for a while.

I've determined that it's not good spin on ice and run into guard rails.

Thanks kenchan. Since your "home base" seems to be in the detailing part of the forum, I know I'm good with your recommendation.

Guess I deserved that with the title.
