PC Pad Oops
PC Pad Oops
About a month ago I made the mistake of not washing my PC 6" applicator pads right after use. I have one pad each that was used to apply Epic, Amigo and Finish. When the job was complete, I threw the pads into an empty bucket with the intent of cleaning them right away. My apparent short attention span caused me to forget about the pads until I found them still sitting in the bucket this last weekend.
Any suggestions on removing the above products or am I looking at purchasing new pads?

You might soak the Epic pad in vinegar or diluted alcohol being sure to squish it well into the pad. The Finish pad - water & soap and it should come out pretty easily. Amigo I would try water & soap but it takes a lot of rinsing even when fresh. It wouldn't hurt to use the alcohol or vinegar trick either.

Finish, Cut, and Swirl wash out easily with warm water regardless of how long it's been since you last used it.
Amigo can be washed out 99% with some trace color left behind with Dawn and warm water. Squirt some Dawn on it, and rub it in very well, then rinse and keep rinsing until all the soap comes out.
Epic washes out with Dawn and warm water to an extent. It usually still feels a little rough. Multiple applications and lots of massaging will usually get it to a point that it's soft enough to use again. You can certainly feel the difference of a pad with dried Epic on it and one that's washed and clean.
