first wash/polish

I'm awaiting my mini delivery and have all the car washing/polishing tools I need but I was just wondering when the best time to do the first wash/claybar/polish would be? Immediately after I take home the car? a couple of weeks?

thanks!

I received my car so well prepped that. apart from regular washing and a few touchups, I managed to go a year before I could plausibly justify the claybar and recoat routine.

If there's one thing I regret, it's not having made sure the wheels had a couple of coats of cheap acrylic polish on them immediately. Might have made all those little clots of brake dust easier to remove.

Klasse is acrylic, but not a polish. Acrylic has some advantages - it is more heat resistive and it does not need to cross-link, just dry. So Klasse might be a good wheel wax if it wasn't such a pain to remove.
Stick with Wheel Armour.
