we were working on Mr Falcon's car at my place...doing a blackout job. We pulled his S-Lites off...I honestly don't think they had EVER been washed. My concrete driveway is sealed with a Behr waterproofer - water beads up on it. There was SO much brake dust, it's stained my concrete Oh well....time to break out the deck brush and muriatic acid and do another round of waterproofer...it's been a couple of years now.

One MINI at 100K, the other at 38K. Both working full time. Kids out of the nest but grandkids to tend to. Waiting for the 5 year mark on the big CA. Yeah, we all have our tracks to follow in life. Good luck with yours & we'll carry on with ours.

so, why jump on this thread then when you have your own? trying to cause trouble? that's really NOT the role a moderator but if I have to tell you that, the point is already lost on you.

I really wasn't talking to you in case you didn't notice. Causing trouble? No more than anyone else. Moderator? I'm tired of babysitting.

I did notice but the point I made still stands. You both are here in this thread only to stir the pot, something a moderator should not be doing. Way to set the example, but, I shouldn't be surprised.

So what if I'm not a moderator any longer?

But to get back on track. I never wash my MINI. Does that qualify me? Haven't cleaned the inside in a year. I throw my Starbucks cups in the back seat. My reusable, green friendly grocery bags take up my boot, & I have dog slobber plastered to the windows. Can I join? Oh, please, please.

namecalling? guess you are allowed since you have moderator status. wear it proudly - it's the only reason you can get away with this.

Well duh, can you make it more apparent

Let the party begin, I just quit

You'd have to make an imaginary apology to join our imaginary club. Unless of course you trying to get me banned was just imaginary.

Mike installed stripes on mine that looked like poop. Marked up, different widths, just a sold MEH. He's promised me new ones next time he's in town....I can get all new for $75 and DIY them (since I did half the work when I paid full install price anyways)

Well, you might be on the way out, I don't think beer and wine cuts it with this sleazy lazy obnoxious boor crowd.

Going to DIY mine. My boot stripes came from Mike so I needed to match the color. I also got the overlay laminate so hopefully they won't fade as fast.

I'm working on getting with da program

I'm considering doing the whole roof in satin black vinyl. I could take some 800 grit to the clearcoat but I'm too chicken for that.

15 minutes, 2 MINIs get cleaned in my carport. But then I don't wait till I need to take a sander to them first.

Well have a nice party, we're not going to talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk about it, we're leaving for a 3000 mile motor. MINI is clean, will get dirty, may get cleaned, may not.

May or may not talk to ya in a week.
