yah, it was cloudy this morning when i pulled out my MCS so took some
quick shots.

most definitely will look good on your CRPWJB's that's for sure. actually
the 5 spokes (now stacked up in my garage) would look fantastic too.

Yeah, so quit tormenting me about those unless you're willing to ship them, and minus the tires.

We'll let you slide this one time and not revoke your HOF credentials.

Okay, Ken and Mel, I have a couple of candidates I need you to consider and vote on:

Blimey

and

MiniMaybee

I believe both have proven over the years that they are seriously over the top in the care of their MINIs.

In fact, I've seen Blimey's in person... if you can stop looking at all the UJ stuff, it's impeccibaly maintained.

And Maybee... you could eat of his engine components.

I go away for a week on vacation, and ChiliPepperJet starts ANOTHER "Official" club?

I appreciate the nomination, and, if admitted, I promise to never shame the club at a public MINI event.

Many Q-tips have died so that Blimey can look good when it counts.

I do a full detail of my wheels when I rotate.

I would polish myself with Amigo if I could reach all my parts with the PC.

And I can do this to Cool Blue, thanks to Amigo and Epic:

Well... I don't know, Paul. Anyone who wants to join that other club can't possibly be a member here.

BTW... the other "official" club is now closed.

It's been ridiculously childish around here lately.

Hmm, I am currently in the garage finishing her new coat off with #26 let the prior wax cure for 24 hour already, here is a old picture I could find of my car topped with Swissvax and polished out with Menzerna stuff with a FLEX Rotary, I usually use a PC

My wheel wells

Exhaust tips

Ohh yeah, I don't drive the car much a few miles every now and then, but I always dust then quick detail everything down to the wheels after every drive!

Hey, Alpha... I remember when you first posted that pic of your PW MINI fresh from the detailing job. And I remember telling you that's the most reflection I've ever soon on a PW MINI.

Those wheel wells... they earn you nomination without even considering anything else.

Sweet MINI.

I washed my wells really well (say that fast three times) last time I had my wheels off, and then hit them with Wizard's.... they didn't look like THAT. They get chewed up a bit from the stones and what not on the road.

Those wheel wells look brand-spanking new.

I use APC and a brush to get them clean, now the car is on coils it's kinda slammed and really hard to get to but I use apc and a brush still with a long handle and afterwards I use some No Touch tire shine and with a shop towel I wrap it around the brush and get it cleaned up since my hands can't fit in there anymore!

Thanks for the tip. And yeah, it's a pain to get up in there even without having the MINI lowered. Good job.

Not here for the ego thing. Just to have fun and share experiences.

Anyone who provides good advice & help when folks need it are the Hall of Fame folks for me.

I doubt anyone is here for the ego thing (well, maybe ken since he's always bragging about those used wheels and how clean they are )... just all in good fun. But I get you.

Got any names you'd like to add as nominees who have given you good help with your detailing ??

the (almost) finished product

ok people here is the almost finished product. going to do at least another coat of epi and then a TON of slick but waiting for the last coat of epic to cure. Thought i would post a few pictures of herman for now and thanx again to CR and please be honest ( for once i would like constructive critisism lol)

That looks good, Andrew... are you happy with the results ? Did you take a good look under direct and bright light ?

That's a nice reflection. And wait until that Epic cures, it'll get even better.
