I thought they did the same thing, both QD. I currently use griots speed shine but thinking of trying a prima product. Which do i use slick or hydro?

They do different things HHFD. Slick is more of a traditional QD IMHO (ie has more lifting agents) whereas Hydro is more of a spray wax. Hydro (just to confuse) can be used as a QD but won't clean as well and Slick will leave a shine but not so much a protectant.

Well, let me put it this way. Since I purchased my MINI, I have become an OCDetailer. I use both Prima products and Griots. I was really hooked on Slick until I tried Hydro. WOW! So..depends on what you're looking for. Slick gives more of a glossy finish, while I find Hydro gives a deeper reflection. But, I bet some of the veteran OCDetailers could provide further info.

if you're looking for a replacement for meguiar's QD in the pink bottle
it should be distilled water. that QD is only good for claying.

Slick and SpeedShine are real QD.

The Zaino QD's are very good also.

Slick would the replacement for Meg's QD. And go ahead and get Hydro because then you'll be hooked.
