Chemical Guys?

Has anybody used their products? Specifically spray waxes and quick detailers?

No, but Poyzin mentioned them the other day. Someone was looking for a U.V. detailing spray.

I have heard their products are awesome, and some of the results I've seen are incredible. I've got too many detailing products already so I haven't bought any, but once I start running out again I plan on loading up with chemical guys in a bad way.

Honestly all I have ever seen is people dog out the "chemical guys" on detailing threads. I have never heard anyone actually dog out their products just their name. Dunno what it's about but I have never tried anything of theirs.
Somebody be the guinea pig & report back to me

I know they play internet games. Fail to add the "s" after Detailer as in www.DetailersParadise.com and you go to that crap Chemical Goof's site.
To me that is a petty ploy to steal business from a good company.
For that reason I won't use them for anything, ever.

Ahh....I was not aware of that. No way will I try them knowing that. That is underhanded IMHO. Thanks

Besides, when possible I like to support vendors who support this site. I don't see that the Chemical Guys do.

They make some decent products. Speed wipe is a nice detail spray but I still prefer FK1 425. Pete's 53 is a decent carnauba. I used 5 or 6 of their products long before I ever joined this board but that is pretty shady what they do to Detailer's Paradise.

They are a manufacturer who private labels for many companies such as Adams Polishes--most of his stuff is Chemical Guys relabeled.

I know the Chemical Guys personally--the owner has a Classic Mini and most recently a Smart Car for their Smart Wax line--their shop is about 15 minutes from my house.

Their products are decent. They have thousands of products and I was given their best and most popular stuff to test and I wasn't exactly wowed by anything in particular however.

I asked them about DetailerParadise and they claim they registered it before Nick (whom they know) registered DetailersParadise, but never used it. Based on this quick WhoIs lookup, I see they are wrong about that...

Good eye, I didn't even notice that. Wonder if they will let it go or not, lol.

Hopefully they will let it expire since it's the right thing to do & hopefully Heather & Nick will snap it up so no one else can

I also like Darkness' idea but only if you promise to also sell Turtle Wax liquid clay & lots & lots of terry cloth towels

I shall relabel it all and call it "Black LOL"

I was thinking of the red shop rags as well as terry cloths...

Dawn becomes intensive cleaning car soap w/ liquid wax and scotchbrite pad becomes a car wash sponge on one side, bug scrubber on the other!

Thanks for the info guys. I am really more interested in reviews on specific products than cheap business practices.

I guess not a lot of people around here like to do business with people who have a rep for cheap business practices

I am sorry to say that I have now become intrigued with the prospect of Darkness opening an online detailing shop...
