QD: Quick Detailer

It helps lift a small spot, bird crap, light dust, without having to wash the car. It's more meant for very light cleaning than actually full-on cleaning the car.

I just received my clubman 2 days ago and I also have stains from the same thing on my bonnet stripes. I cant seem to get them off. Has anyone found a solution rather than replacing them?

I tried buffing, wd40, slick, vinegar and clay. None of it worked. I took my two month old mini to the shop today and told them to either buff them out or replace them. He called saying they put new ones on...ill let you know later today how it looks.

My white stripes had become gray with dirt and stains. Today I cleaned them with whitewall tire cleaner and they are MUCH improved!

Interesting tip!

Any product you used in particular? Like brand name, product name, etc.

BUMP!

Built in September, but most likely sat in the parking lot of my dealer until I purchased it end of January. Terrible stains on the black stripes. British Racing Green with a black roof and black wheels, nothing wrong with any other surfaces, but the stains on the stripes are terrible. I sent an email day after documenting them, but have not pursued the dealer because I've not yet had time to try myself. Going to have some time tomorrow to wash, so I will try methods mentioned above.

I am due for my first wax, however, I still have white **** dripping on the edges of the hood. Anyone else have this recently? What is it and where is it coming from and when will it go away? I'm in Florida.

Thanks for having me!
