Jumping Right In

After combing this forum, I've gone ahead and ordered up some Klasse AIO and the P21S Concours Caranuba. I've been putting NuFinish on my cars for years, and it's worked well, but I'm curious to try this stuff.

Nice!! Did you order Klasse AIO and Klasse Sealant Glaze (the Klasse twins)?? I believe those two work together and then folks put P21S over that.

No, I didn't get the Klasse SG, mostly because the consensus seems to be that it's pain to apply. I may get the Prima sealant.

"Klasse Twins" is the most unbelievable positive UV protection, combined with a good carnuba wax. My car still "beads" after 6 months here in the South Florida sun and elements

OK, the rain held off today and the temps were in the 60's. I started out with my wife's car (an '02 Mercedes C320 Wagon, silver) to see how things went, as silver is an easy color to work with.

First impressions:

- Klasse AIO isn't as good at cleaning as NuFinish, but it leaves a wonderful deep shine.

- the AIO works great on windows (exterior) and doesn't whiten rubber or plastic trim.

- The AIO did an even better job on my '05 CR MCS. I swear, the look got deeper after I buffed and let it set up.

Unfortunately, I didn't have time to do the P21s caranuba coat, as it was getting late and I didn't have enough time to tape everything off. I'll probably do that next weekend.

With a name like that, I would have thought you'd already be a detailing pro.

You'll be a full-fledged OCDetailer in about 4 months.

It'll start with a couple waffle weave towels, a bar of clay, some Prima Mystique and Epic.

Next will come the Prima Swirl and the Monster Fluffies.

When you get the Porter Cable Random Orbital Buffer... you're done. Full-fledged OCDetailer.

Looks like I've skipped a few steps, because I ordered up a PC on Saturday.
