Liquid Lustre
Liquid Lustre
I was just curious if anyone had any opinions or info. on this stuff... It is pure carnauba, and very easy to work with, but hard to find. It was suggested to me by a friend and I was able to find some on ebay (of course).
I would seriously like to hear from some of the pro detailers out there if they have tried it or know of any negatives.

Used to use it all the time on my motorcycles (for years!). It was available in Canada at Canadian Tire outlets, but they no longer carry it and I have no idea where it might be available. Gave a fantastic shine! Easy to apply (by hand anyways)...wait for it to haze, and then buff off. It also had the ability to remove some "crud" I could not get off in the wash segment...must have some kind of solvent in it (?). I would still be using it on my bike if I could easily locate any.
I suspect it would probably show white on the black wheel-trim though (?). Oh...sorry...I'm not a pro detailer (but I have a random orbital polisher and use DP products).

So they had it up there in the Great White North eh!... Thanks for the input! It must have something added in there to cut the carnauba. Most likely a petroleum distillate and that would help remove the bug guts and road tar. Anyway, it really works well and is easy to work with.
