Dark silver base color?

Dark silver base color?

Does dark silver have base color under it? Possibly some sort of green or something under it? I am re-painting my hood scoop and while wet sanding with 800 grit in a couple areas I am starting to see a different color show through. Its soft of a metalic green or something.

That would be the factory primer. There isn't a base color other than the silver. Then there's clear coat over that.
