I did, no such luck no code.

 

I used the code I found by googling "detailers paradise coupon".

 

The code that comes up under that Google search was meant to be an exclusive code for paid S2KCA club members. We (used to) offer it in exchange for advertising on their site (which most sites charge a bucketload for!).

Unfortunately, because we found out recently that the code was being used by non-S2KCA members we have had to eliminate it altogether.

We would offer discounts to all clubs and forums except that 98% of our customers are in a club or forum of some kind... that means that in order to still pay our bills we would have to increase all of our prices by the same amount as the discount. As you can see, that wouldn't make much sense. Instead, we offer occasional discounts and deals to clubs and forums throughout the year, as well as provide lots of $$ and services through event sponsorship. This way, we can still say thanks for all your support without going out of business.

I can assure you that this forum definitely receives the very best deals, discounts and event sponsorships over any other club or forum because we especially appreciate the loyalty and support we receive from NAMers (not to mention how well we're treated by Mark & Sam!). But, it is financially impossible for us to offer a year-round flat discount. Sorry! I hope you understand and can respect that we offer NAMers lots of other stuff throughout the year instead.

Actually I do have a suggestion if you guys want access to discount codes, especially for DetailersParadise and ShowCarDetailing.com....

Go buy yourself the NAM 2008 Calendar, and use the code at the right time.

I've heard that if you plugged in the wrong code at the wrong time that a nasty virus will be downloaded onto your computer that says something like "MINIs are for Sissy's!!". So that makes search engines useless when it comes to coupon codes! Buy the calendar and enjoy the discounts! You never know when someone might plant some Virus Encoded Coupon Codes on the net just for the search engines!!!

Good reply from Heather and Richard. The products we use from DP and SCD are moderately expensive, but would you use anything else but the best on your MINI.

The support we get at events like MITM from both Heather and Richard are worth the price of admission.

Besides, Hydro has a very addicting smell, I mystique and hydro often.

Richard, by any chance do you have a moonlighting job as a 'hacker'. Last post was a little edgy, not sure I want to give the script kiddies any ideas.

I just popped my Hydro cherry today. Mmmmmm. I almost took a swig straight from the bottle.

 

Having a discount code got me hooked on a product that I might never had tried otherwise. Food for thought...

We all work hard for our dollars, and everyone I don't spend on my kids education, I try to spend wisely.

Oh we understand that, and that's why we have discount codes---they just aren't in effect 365 days a year. They are available for an entire month next year on the NAM calendar.

We, as in DP and SCD and others, have promotions throughout the year with coupon codes to get people like yourself to try products that you might not necessarily try. Watch the Vendor Announcement for codes.

And like Heather said, the problem with discount codes is that when you try to give a special discount to a particular community, someone outside of the community will get ahold of it and share it via the internet, and the whole idea of trying to give a special price to a particular community is shot.

 

AND ANOTHER DISCOUNT at Detailers Paradise is available if you keep your eyes open. They offer reduced prices on bundle buys, and every so often, they offer different products at a discount. You just have to be persistant and vigiliant to find what you want and get enough of it to get you through till it comes around again. Hope I didn't give your seceret away Heather!

 

That's right! I sometimes forget about our ongoing sales and deals myself!

It's true though... most of us offer discounted bundles or kits, as well as monthly sale items. The bundles, in particular, offer significant savings over buying the items individually.
