sounds good! I think the other product to try is Amigo with a white pad.
you may never need Epic imho.

im going to opt for the Griot's one-step sealant next Spring and just
keep reinforcing it with Hydro. The one-step sealant is a mix of their
mild polish#3 and polymer wax. it supposedly lasts about a year.

from all the readings, it appears the longest lasting waxes are
klasse and griot's sealant.

I'm just evolving from what I learned as a child 50 years ago, to what seems to make sense now. I have been completely amazed by both Prima and Hydro. My kid just got back from Costa Rica and I mentioned I'd waxed the car with Prima. He looked at it and did a double take on the Hyper Blue. Tonight in the dusk I used hydro on my wife's Saab. Since it is sort of waxing, I used a microfiber cloth I'd picked up from Octane Guy. To my amazement the microfiber just soaked up the water and with just a little rubbing, the hydro turned out a fantastic shine. The light was failing but it looks like the best shine I've gotten on the car . . . and this is on a pretty weak base as its about time to apply the wax before winter. Last (despite recommendations) I did the wheels. These are expensive wheels. I used hydro and, in the dark, they look fantastic.

So I'm looking at improving my technique about as much as the products seem to have improved. My oh my!

I'm of the " Ya gets whats ya pays fer " crowd. I also believe in using what you like.

For me that means Zaino for the primary protection and QD, mostly because I still have some, and Hydro for when I wash the MINIs.

One thing to remember, most of the higher end products do last longer, and you tend to need to use less, so the cost factor tends to be a wash. ( Get it, wash, detailing forum )

I've been using Zaino for 10 years on my 96 Impala SS. It still looks like new!!! Zaino has a new All-in-one system that is definitly glossy!!

Your current choice of products will serve you well. The most important thing is that you are trying. I've seen a lot of neglected MINIs in my travels.
