well, you have to watch out with those 50hp ones cause it will
literally suck the whole car into the vac.

my parent's old house had a centeral vac unit basically a
hose you carry around the house and insert it into the vac holes in
several walls in the house and the vac automatically starts it up
in the basement.

the concept is cool, but the bad part about it was widing up the hose
after use... plus the vac holes were located in many places around the
house, but it was just a pita to do all that just to clean up a small area.

My parents removed their centeral vac unit because it was useless and a pita to use (the hoses, storing, etc). All the plumbing for it is still in the house. My dad just took out the tank and all that jazz.

Yeah, my parents had one of those central vacs with the outlets all over the house. This one is just for the garage so the unit hangs on the wall and the hose plugs into the unit. The hose is 30 feet long and comes with all sorts of attachments.

Beats dragging the shop vac out of the shed every weekend.

jep, thus why i recommend getting a small 2hp shopvac for the car.

cheap, easy to use, and don't need to haul a hose or tank around
the garage.
