Good News

One year ago, I decided to try Meguiar’s Deep Crystal System and one year later, I am pleased to say the system works. Water was still beading one year later although not as well as at first, but still beading.
Here is what I do; wash the car thoroughly and then clay bar the entire car to remove all surface contaminants. Then start the Meguiar’s Deep Crystal System.
For those not familiar, the system goes as follows:
1. Paint Cleaner
2. Polish
3. Carnauba Wax
4. Professional Synthetic Sealant #21
After masking the entire car to guard against getting anything on the black plastic trim, apply all four steps one at a time to the entire car including the glass. Your car will look like it was car-show ready having that rich looking deep luster.
Throughout the year, you may need to touchup a little using a good quick detailer.
Have fun and drive safely.

The products are numbered 1-2-3 and are purchased separately. The sealant must be ordered direct form Meguiar's as most stores do not carry it.

Clay bar is a special clay made for paint surface detailing. Some good auto supply stores carry it.

I can't help you with a buffer as I still do everything by hand, the old fashioned way.

If you do a couple of searches and read the "stickies" at the top of this forum, you shall find more info.

Make a Great Day!
