The paint is really WEIRD in the sun. It is sort of a dusty metallic green. Really interesting looking. Hm. It seems that it is the true colour of the car.

THis is better than carnauba paste.

Aren't we all?

We need shirts and signature graphics that say "Proud to be a DP shill" or something like that...

Epic lasts pretty much indefinitely if you don't open the bottle.

Yes, Epic will actually last longer than your paint - if you don't open the bottle.

Well, it has lasted since last night.

I missed quite a few spots in the buffing area of the process. I will have to wait until Friday to wash it and then get out the white areas. I plan on hydro'ing. HOwever, I do not own a WWeave, my drying MFibre is hard to work with.

do you need a special towel to wipe off hydro?

Nope. I think it is the most brainless of all detailing stuff. I thought Griot's SpeedShine was the most brainless, but even that needs to be wiped off windows somewhat.

I think you just need a towel that is lint, fabric softener and dirt free. I dont even see needing a microfibre towel.

Not be a NAM lemming, but the monster fluffy they sell pimps your ride. They are pretty cheap. Take forever to dry though. Been 24 hours and it still is damp :(

Says best to air dry!

I do whats best for my fluffs and towels nowadays. I have noticed how awesome they get without drying, even the older ones.

I dry my monsters (and all my MF towels) in the dryer, low heat - and they're VERRRY fluffy still...

I dry mine on low heat - no issues. Most of my towels are about 6 mths old and still nice & soft.

Wait ... we are
both obsessively compulsive,
both have MINIs,
both UJ fanatics,
both on NAM and
you and I have a "b", a "c", an "e", a "y", an "i" and a "m" in our screen names.
Perhaps we are twin sons of different mothers!
Do you like Lawrence Whelk too?
Do you sometimes find yourself driving with your left hand?
How about a unnatural desire to own a Unicorn or kick Vick?
And do you eat peanut butter on steak, and wear women's ... never mind.

So I think drying a Monster Fluffy in the drier on low heat is fine.

You should see my garage if you think I'm OCD... not so... just MINI obsessed... and I eat peanut butter off the unicorn while singing along to Christina Aguilera albums... but other than that, we have a few things in common... this is better than eHarmony...

ugh... I hate the eharmony guy. Him, Stephen Hawking, and Jessica Parker.

If I had them all in one room, I would light them on fire. Yes. I have issues, but they are rational ones !

Anyways, back to detailing....

Epic looks dark in the sunlight at various angles. I have to see what it is like after a mystique wash and hydro and re-buff this Friday.
