Ben has said that they can open their doors for us beginning at 10 am. If we decide to go hang out there for lunch, I was thinking we can motor up around 11am. but that doesn't mean people can't go up a little earlier. I think their hours are 10-5 on Sat.

]I wanted to introduce myself,
My name is Ben Pettis, I have worked as a MINI Sales manager
in the past (2004)and was to person responsible for starting the MINI meet and greet monthly at Tate BMW. I am a huge MINI fanatic and I have started a new shop in Annapolis. We are a proud sponsor of North American Motoring!
We have two Factory trained MINI technicians, Samson and Harry who is a Master tech. Our MINI techs have most likely worked on your car before. We are ready to do everything from routine maintainence (our shop rate is $20 less per hour than the local dealer) to pulleys and coil over suspensions. We do not have dealer restrictions and can do all sorts of performance work!
So happy that a new MINI shop is in town with my favorite techs (Streghina sends a big kiss to Samson !! ) cannot make for the lunch day (autoxing!!) but I will stop by soon.. Hope you took care of the red MINI last week...
Good luck and Welcome to NAM

NFS..tho' the Morris Cooper was cheap, considering the $$$ that was poured into it.
I am so pleased and excited there's a place to take my car that isn't 45 mins. away.
Ben et al couldn't have been nicer. I look forward to giving them all my car business, and I hope that any and all DCMM members will do the same...

It seems like you guys have had so much fun while I was freezing to death in Toronto.
Looks like I've missed tons of action, I will have to do a lot catch up.

BTW, great to know that we have one more great Mini service provider in our area. I will swing by to say hello sometimes next week.

Hey everyone, it looks like I should be able to make it up there for the lunch. I had some things come up that are keeping me from going to Helix and spending a lot of money. Looking forward to hanging out with everyone!

Yeah everything is alright. My mother's 50th birthday was last week and she was a little depressed about turning 50 so I had to spend a little more than I was planning on spending for her. I sent her 5 dozen different flowers (roses, sunflowers, tulips, lillies, and daisies); a dozen for each decade and chocolates and balloons and such since I couldn't be in St. Louis to be with her for her birthday. Plus I am trying to save money for the Dragon.

Brain,

If you skip the dyno, you can ride with me up there from WS.

Here is my tentative: Tate 9.30 - 10.30, WS 11 - 12.30 then Helix after that.
