2006 MINI garnered J.D. Power Customer Service...

...The new attention shows in J.D. Power & Associate’s annual satisfaction surveys. For 2006, Mini garnered J.D. Power Customer Service Index (CSI) scores that are the envy of many luxury brands, with a huge jump up to 10th place overall, even placing it ahead of BMW.
Article at MSNBC mentions MINI dealers quite a bit.

MINI must have carefully selected the dealerships they had Powers contact.
Some of the dealerships totally suck at customer service for MINI owners.

Good to know most dealers are the opposite of Tate.

People occasionally complain about Sterling, but I've never had an issue there. And Towson has been 5-star worthy every time I've gone. Tate's service is definitely in the minority.
