A pully sounds good... would it be rude to ask what the price of participation would be?

Eric told me the installation for the pulley is $240.00 plus the price of the pulley (www.helix13.com) check there for the pricing.

Seriously..if anyone is interested I need to know for sure. I'll be making a list and getting it all set up. Since Helix is dedicating a day for this, if you sign up, you are making a committment to be there. It's all good and from what I've told, well worth the money!!

So please PM me if you plan on going. I'll have a date later today!!

I just saw Eric the other day for an exhaust install, and short shifter. Awesome person and easy to talk to. It looks like any work that I have done from now on will be a 2.5 hour drive away.

I'll be there, definitely. I just need to find out what to have installed.

Man, my wallet seems to be getting thinner.

Does the helix pulley work on the JCW mini's? Also, what kind of power does it add?

Probably isn't worth it. The JCW already has a reduction (compared to stock) pulley on it. It's approximately a 14% reduction. Unless you really have money to burn it isn't advisable. The gain compared to the money spent would be minimal.

It's really depending on which reduction pulley you're looking at. I think, they have 15% (pretty close to JCW), 17% and 19% reduction. The result is varied, depending on your other component as well. Best is to call them, they can give you the exact answer.

For this pulley install day im going to knock off $40 the pulley install cost. It will be a total of $200 plus the cost of the pulley. We can install other pieces (like suspension pieces and brakes) as well, but nothing like a TurboKompressor or Warp Drive.

How about we make a list of people so I can be sure to have the pulleys I need in stock.

Our pulleys would definately work with a JCW car. Like CmdrVimes said, the pulley size for the JCW is right around 14%, so the change will not be as noticable as if you were going from a stock MCS to a 19%. What you will feel is more power, more area under the torque curve and more power near redline.

Void,

Shocks would not be a problem. Would you be bringing your own, or would you like us to get a set for you?

Hopefully, my intercooler will be arrived there in time for the day. Please let me know once it's arrived. Thanks.

BTW. Is it going to be too busy to squeeze in some dyno runs on the day? I think it should be fun if we could add it in some how.

Your intercooler will be here in time, so no worries about that.

Also, we will be able to dyno your car.

This sucks. Right now I have just enough money to buy a Sticker, Install is a completely different subject. Freakin' Maryland taxes. I've got my fingers crossed for Federal.

I'm still not sure which shocks to get..
do you carry KW variant 1s? if so, any issues with clearance with shock body and wheels?
