May be selling a set of S-Lites in DC

Hey guys,

I may be getting a new set of wheels soon, so the S-Lites will be up for sale. They have Pirelli Euforia runflats on them -- approx 16,500 miles on the set.

They've been rotated twice, so I'd say there's even wear -- probably 50% tread life left. One tire, however, has been professionally patched by a tire shop, but it appears to be holding. It lost probably 5lbs of air or so over 3-4 months.

Two of the wheels have pretty minor curbrash, and the other two are perfect. One of those two w/markings has a bit more than the other (one has maybe an inch of curbrash, and another has 3-4" of light markings), but nothing noticeable from a few feet away. None of the curbrash is deep at all, just barely brushed the surface

I live in Washington, DC (between Georgetown and Bethesda)

Price Reduced -- $400

I've thought about it, but I'm probably going to just get a set of Web Spokes as I had planned to prior to ordering!

I have a set of Web Spokes that I had planned on selling... but I'm asking for a fairly high number. When I upgraded to the JCW wheels, I paid to have my web-spokes refinished, to remove any curb rash, etc... and it cost me a lot more than I expected... but now they are effectively in new condition.

MSRP on the wheels is $419 each ($1676 for the set). At some dealers, you can get a 20% discount, which would be $1340.80. I'm probably going to post them on the Marketplace soon - I'll be posting them for $1200 OBO (or best offer).

Obviously, I'd prefer to sell to a DC area person, so that shipping is not an issue. Let me know if you are interested. The tires on them are quite worn though, but they are the factory run-flats, so you might have wanted to replace them anyway. (Hey, I liked them... I'm one of the "weird" ones who likes run-flats... but I know most people don't)

I'm with you on the run-flats...They don't bother me enough at all to warrant a switch to non run-flats

Thanks for the offer, but I just purchased a set of webspokes from a member here on NAM. Good luck with the sale...

These have been lowered to $400
