Below is the information on the next Capital Driving Club autocross at Harry Grove Stadium. Let me know if you have any questions or want to participate.

Harry Grove Stadium, Frederick, MD is the location of our next autocross on SATURDAY November 11th.

Registration and tech inspection will be at 8:00 and will promptly close at 8:45 to try to accomodate the full field, while still giving 6 runs. You must be DONE by 8:45. So if you arrive at 8:00 you won't have a problem. Don't arrive at the last minute. If you don't get teched and registered by 8:45, you will lose your morning runs.

The event fee is $25 for members and $35 for non-members at this event. So if you plan to attend, e-mail me your name(s), make, model, year and color of your vehicle.

We will also be taking new memberships at the November 11th. So if your a non-member and want to join, you can join at these events.

Member reservations (or participants that will join the club upon showing up) for any events can be made at any time. Open reservations for non-members for this event begins Friday November 3rd. To reserve a spot, e-mail me your

I got bad news...

The Autocross for Saturday November 11th is now cancelled. We just got a refund for the Harry Grove parking lot with an attached message notifying us that the City of Frederick will not allow any use of the upper and lower lot until the baseball field is renovated. This decision was based on the liability concerns with the heavy equipment at the same place with people and cars. We tried to change the location of the November 11th autocross to Osbourn Park HS but their parking lot is not available (volleyball tournament that weekend), and the lead time is too short to schedule the Bowie Baysox lot (our insurance paperwork and forms would not be filled out in time, while Osbourn Park has our information electronically). As a result, we have to cancel the November 11th autocross. We are currently investigating another location for the December autocross. Sorry for the late reply. We wanted to investigate the possibility of using another lot before notifying everyone. Again, sorry for any inconvenience.
