Yea this sucks

Well a fun night in DC turned sour when I get back to my car parked in the parking garage. Looks like some ******* that was drunk decided to punch my rear window. Nothing was taken, thank god. Garage guy didn't speak english, wouldn't matter anyways they don't care. I guess I'll worry about it getting fixed when I get back from Vegas. I hope I win something to cover my window.

That's a shame. At the very least, your tint kept the glass from getting all over the interior. . .

Gambling with a serious purpose in mind. Sorry to see the smashed window. Can your insurance cover the cost? What a real bummer.

Hopefully your insurance will..Beware haloween too!

Mean people really do suck!

I hope your insurance will pick it up!

Haloween is definately not a good time to leave a Mini (or anything else) out for the night...I am lucky...mine stays in the garage. I live in a pretty good neighborhood but a few cars have been egged of late!

best of luck

I hate f@&$^$s like that If that happened to me and I found them, I would break both their arms in multiple places so than it would take longer to heal, I would also do some tendon damage so than they would loose strength in their arms to remind them of their "good deeds"

I'm really sorry about that. It's a shame people can't enjoy their nice things without having to worry about disrespectful idiot types ruining them.

MAN! What a F@*&%$ Moron!!! People that do that stuff suck! Fortunately, glass is easier to replace than having to have sheetmetal straightened, repainted,...etc. Hopefully, you'll have it good as new before long.

Lessons learned from parking my Saturn on the street (even in a "good" neighborhood):

People casually break out windows.
Kids egg cars on halloween.
Birds conduct target practice.

I'm so sorry to hear about that rear window. And it goes to show that parking garages are no better than on the street.

Last night (halloween), I pulled my mini as far into our driveway as I could and then pulled our minivan in behind it so that it wasn't visible to egg-wielding trick-or-treaters. We still have to get our garage cleaned out....

Yeah that sucks!

Just this past Monday (the night before Halloween) I was driving down a back country road and all of a sudden I heard a loud crack on my windshield and a "star" quickly formed.

I was confused because I was the only one on the road and it wasn't like another car kicked up a rock, and there weren't any trees so it wasn't like a squirrel threw anything at me.

In the distance I saw 2 kids running away with what appeared to be a BB gun. Little bastards!

My windshield was repaired today. It's not 100%, but I didn't want the windshield replaced. Oh well, I guess it's better than getting chips in my paint.
