So, the people coming up from DC/VA area, we are planning on meeting in Ellicott City. There is a park and ride off of rte 100 where it meets 103. Coming up from 95N, take rte 100 towards Ellicott City, and take the 103/LONG GATE PARKWAY exit. At the stop sign turn left and the park and ride is on the right.
There are a couple of fast food joints near that area. I am going to leave dinner up to everyone, since I think going to a restaruant will be too long on a Friday night. There is McD's and a KFC in the shopping area near the park and ride. From there it is about a 30-45 minute drive over to the park, depending on traffic.

We will plan to meet at the park and ride at 7:30pm. That will alow us to leave at 8pm SHARP to go to the House. We will have to cross the Key Bridge, so bring some small bills, or your EZPass. As well as your radios! ONLY for driving. I don't want for us to mess up the SCARY house with radio chatter!
The cost for this event is $5 with the discount. And afterward, we will be going to DQ for some ice cream if you all want it!

There has been some question about the time being too late. LET ME KNOW if you think this is so. I have NO problem with meeting up a bit earlier and leaving from Ellicott City at 7:30 or 7:45pm to get there a bit earlier, but I wanted to allow for traffic out of DC for those poeple who are working Friday night. So as it is set now, the above times will be the ones we are going by.

 

I will be there. can't wait to see everyone there!

It is to bad you ladies are going to miss this. If we loose any one else, the price will go up to $8/person.

I need to go to the bank and hopefully to carmax before Saturday... But I could try to go to carmax tonight.

 

I'm not sure yet if I can make it either. It's a long way for me to drive on a weeknight (rush hour traffic in BOTH cities? ick!)... also, we have a planned network outage here at the office, that I can probably get out of, but I would feel bad about skipping it. We'll see...

This makes me really bummed! I'm sorry that this event seems to be creating such a hassle. Because so many people have canceled, the price for admission is now back up to $8. I am not trying to guilt anyone into coming, but this is how I feel.

if we buy 20 tickets @ 100.00 and divide the price among 17 people the cost will be $ 5.88 per ticket - still cheaper than $8.00... we could find a couple of souls outside in lane and make them part of our group ...

In any case don't cancell it: I drove TATE MINI crazy to adjust my schedule for the HH .. plus the young girl who is coming with me has bought the costume and she is so excited... If you cancel the event you will have a young girl broken heart's on your conscience.. can you live with that ???? :(

 

This event will not be cancelled. That is a good idea Lastrega, we may just do that.

 

we've only lost 2 folks (?). No reason to cancel! Any one who wants to, can crash at my house if you want to go to the Tate breakfast on Sat. Even if you didn't plan on going to the bfast, there's still a bed at my house for anyone who wants it.

 

I may have a total of 2...if I can get someone to come :(, no one likes me...
