based on our conversations, I would like to get some OEM stripes as well as the A-panel work, so pencil me in for this date. hopefully u will get enough ppl onboard to make this happen.

if i can get my sick baby up and running again, i will totally be out there. i think it's late to call Carlos right now (8pm) but i'll make my appt first thing tomorrow. how much do the graphics go for? i could gofor some hibiscus flowers on my roof. ooh ooh cna you do like hibiscus flower racing stripes? hmm, that may be a little over the top. anway, if anyone knows a good mini mechanic as well that would be great. i feel totally out of place driving my dad's explorer around while my mini sits in the driveway on punishment

As for the hibicus check out this work Mike has done. Also keep in mind Mike can make any custom design you want.
Also you will find Mike's prices to be very reasonable compared to many of the local Vinyl/Sign shops. Also he has done loads of MINIs and knows how to apple the vinyl to the curves of your car.

I am thinking about replacing the stripes on the bonnet with the shelby or viper stripes going over the bonnet, roof and boot. Does anyone have any pictures of Minis with the shelby stripes.

There are some others too. Carlos does a good job.

 

I got my tint done by Carlos as a impulse decision. He did a great job, and for a great price! My brother said that he thinks it compares very favorably to a place in NY where he got his done. His has been on for a couple years now, and it still looks brand new! There's no reason for me to think that Carlos' tint job won't be the same.

Oh yeah, I'll probably come up to hang out! (Too bad no Randy this time though! For those that were there previously, think that DCMM would be allowed back in Chili's and the diner? )

OK since this is the "official" AC/DC Sollar install thread

I'll will post the schedule here. Please make sure to ckeck your times with carlos so there are no conflicts. Carlos takes about an hour to do a tint install so that should give you an idea. Some install from me take 20 MINUTES

or 20 minutes plus depending on the job. Seriously a full viper or shelby stripe package can take up to 5 hours. So if that is what you want just make sure to leave lots of time in the schedule.
