..... for my GTech Pro RR. I really don't want to go out and buy one and was wondering if anyone had to to permantly loan me one. None of our computers have a Serial port and I have 5 computers.

Those cables can be pretty expensive... A cheaper solution is to buy a PCI card (goes in any desktop computer with PCI slots, which is everything except macs) with serial ports on it:

I have one for a mouse. Serial mouse into a USB. Is that what you're looking for?

This is what I am talking about. Either a cable or an adaptor.

radio shack has them with the software to install on your computer. I picked one up for approx. 45 dollars. I use it for my data collector for survey work.

good luck

Just FYI, I was looking that those too recently (in conjuction with the OBDII cables) and it seems as if the SabreNet adapter isn't looked to kindly upon. There's one on NewEgg made by GWC that runs $16 that someone actually went out and tested with a bunch of devices, one of those devices being a GTech, and it ran fine.
