WTB: R84 Rims, no tires

Anybody have a used set of R84 or R83 wheels they want to sell locally? I don't really care about a little curb rash or scrapes as long as they are straight and not damaged. Drop me a PM. Thanks.

If I can get my hands on some aftermarket wheels, mine will be available. Timing is unknown at this point tho.

Have you checked with MINI of Sterling? At MOTD2006 they had a little flyer printed about selling alot of the "take off" wheels from cars bought through them. "take offs" being the wheels/tires that came with the car but the person upgraded/replaced them with another set and didn't want the stock ones.

The R83s are a standard wheel so they might have a good many set of them.

Thanks for the tip, I'll try that...

R90s?

Would you consider R90s (17")? I have replaced the wheels/tires on both my MINI and my wife's. The tires are still on both but the runflats on my R90s would only be good for "drifting".

I would also consider selling my wife's R84s (16") with Dunlap SP Sport 5000 runflat tires with about 5K of mileage. Live in Herndon, VA. Let me know.

Bump. Anybody else have R84s they want to part with? MoS has some sets of S-Lites and Holeys but no R84s (take-offs that is). I'm still looking for a set of OEM 16 inch rims. I don't mind if they're scuffed up a bit. I'm looking in the $150-200 price range, local in the DC area. Anybody? Bueller?....

Don't quote me, but I think when I bought my replacement R84 from Classic MINI it was $150 + SH new. Might want to give them a call.
